The refund on your deposit will be based, in part, on cleanliness and condition upon move out. The following list is to give guidance to what we will be looking at to determine if the property is in rentable condition.
You may be charged for storage fees or incur charges for disposal of any items left at the property.
If you fail to clean the property or cause damages, NGPM may charge rent for the number of days that it takes to prepare the property to rentable condition. The final accounting on the deposit will occur within 31 days AFTER the last tenant leaves or date of termination, whichever is later.

If it is not the owner then it should be a licensed real estate agent.
Your deposit should be held in a security deposit escrow account.
It should be returned in no more then 30 days from your move-out date.
You should have a check-in sheet to document any damage prior to your move-in. You should take pictures of the entire home for your sake of documentation.
There should be someone to call 24/7 incase of an emergency as well as someone to contact during the day.
Online payments options should be made available.
Make sure you know when you must pay, when you’ll get assessed late fees and how much those late fees will be.
The most important thing to do is read your lease agreement and know what it says. Ask questions and do not make any verbal agreements.
